Our Cleaning Process

To ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, each rental item undergoes a multi-step process after every trip:

  • Tents & Sleeping Bags – Washed and air-dried to remove dirt, moisture, and odors. Sanitized with a non-toxic, eco-friendly disinfectant  that’s safe for skin and outdoor use.

  • Cooking Gear & Utensils – Washed with hot water and biodegradable soap, then fully sanitized and dried.

  • Coolers & Water Containers – Deep cleaned, disinfected, and air-dried to prevent lingering odors or mold buildup.

  • Sleeping Pads – Vacuumed, Wiped down with antibacterial cleaner and/or mild soap if any stains, and fully dried before storage.

  • Other Gear – Checked for debris, wiped down, hand-washed if needed, and disinfected before storage.

Customer Responsibilities

To keep our gear in the best condition for all renters:

  • Please return all items dry, free of food or any other residue, and in good condition.

  • No need to launder sleeping bags, tents, or other fabric items—we handle all washing and deep cleaning. Just shake out debris and let them dry (if needed) before packing.

  • Do not return wet items — moisture leads to mold and damage.

  • Rinse cookware and food-related items before packing.
